Adventure is Waiting.
Boys 6-10 Years old or Grades K-5
Cub Scouts lets kids have fun while teaching them skills that will help them later on. From the thrill of shooting an arrow to learning how to transform a block of wood into a race car, Cub Scouts is one thrill after another. With a program expertly tailored to match each age in a young boy's life, Cub Scouts learn that even when fun isn’t easy, it’s always an adventure. In Scouting, everything has a purpose. And it shows kids that doing their best is the most fun of all.
New Membership Fees
BSA Registration Fee are paid online at the time of application.
PACK 301 Fees for new membership are $51. The fees pay for the current year’s neckchief, slide, book, advancement, and religious emblem book.
Checks should be made out to Basilica of Saint Mary.
NOTE FOR SCOUTS THAT JOIN IN SEPTEMBER
Cub Scouts that join in the September will need to pay the new membership fee and the renewal fee together. The renewal fee is $125 and pays for the upcoming program year’s BSA membership, program fees, handbook, etc. The reason for the double fee is that the Pack collects the fees for the upcoming program year in November. The BSA requires our charter to be renewed by 1 March each year. We generally turn in our payment and paperwork in January of each year. By way of example, Scouts that join in September 2018 will need to pay $51 + $125 or $176. This covers them for the 2018-2019 program year ($51) and 2019-2020 program year ($125).
